LIVE!…well, sorta. Anyways, just when you thought all the excrement had been released, it’s time for the MyndJack Radio Idol Season 2 Concert, Tuesday August 24th! Three full hours of your Top 10 MyndJack Radio Idols performing NEW songs and encore performances.

Will there be a new Slackington Song? What of this other boy band group that formed during the Greased Lightening number? What will Griff do? What will the group numbers be? Will we ever get to hear the group number that was supposed to play at the finale?! Also, we will reveal the winner of the songwriting contest! Remember that? Yeah, THAT contest! Anyways, we will announce the winner then!

Greetings creative minds of the MyndJack Nation!

Thank you for listening to our broadcast and hopefully we have been providing exceptional entertainment or at least mild amusement for your eardrums to bang away to. The MyndJack Radio Idol Finale is less than a week away and the excrement is building up to sewage-bursting proportions and we would like you to get your helping hands deep inside to add your own flavor to the mix.

Below, you will find the details on the MyndJack Radio Idol Songwriting contest that I have been babbling about for the last couple weeks. Why am I just now getting to posting this? Well, I would like to say that the rigorous demands of the production behind MyndJack Radio, in addition to my role as Program Manager while seeking a work-life balance, has led to a severe delay in getting this important update public, the truth is this: D’oh! I forgot!

So, yes the contest is still on with only some minor adjustments. We are looking for a song parody to be the official coronation song for the winner of MyndJack Radio Idol Season 2. Now, since I am just now posting the update, the song will not be performed at the Finale on Thursday but rather it will be the final song performed by the winner at the EPIC three hour concert on August 24th. We will select one of the songs submitted to be the winner and announce the winner at the end of the concert, when the champion prepares to perform this masterpiece.

Here are the details:
The winning submission will be performed by the Season 2 champion at the concert on Aug 24th.
The winner of this contest will receive not only the fame, honor, and glory of producing an awesome song, but also a prize selected from the MyndJack Radio Prize Vault!!
Submissions should include the lyrics to the song and the instrumental for the song (mp3) to be applied to the singer’s vocals. It is up to the performing artist to interpret the lyrics and perform the song as they feel fits their style (as in melisma, etc..)
Submissions are due by Friday, August 16th, to allow time for production to select the winner and give the champion time to record the performance.

If I feel that any of you phone it in or half-ass it, I’m going to call you out. Because the finale needs to be the 2 people who want it the most. It’s insulting to the contestants who’ve been eliminated for any of you not to give 110%.

Having said that, I am really looking forward to what you four can come up with. These final 3 weeks are going to be EPIC. Good luck to all four of you and may the best contestant win.

Welcome to MyndJack Radio Idol, dahlings!

As you all know, I was last seasons winner of
MyndJack Idol. Of course it wasn’t much of a competition then, like hello! IT’S ME! I was bound to win.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case for you my lovelies.

In order for you to put an edge on your performances you must first remember to KNOW your song. Practice will make you know that song. We don’t want slip ups! If there is one thing the judges hate, it’s when a contestant forgets the lyrics. So KNOW IT AND LIVE IT!

Remember that song choice is key to your performance. We need you, the contestants, to keep the audience and the judges entertained. The right song will give you an edge, while the wrong song might just get you pushed over the edge. Don’t forget SONG CHOICE IS KEY!

This competition will run fierce. Bring your game face on and trust no one! If you want to win this, you better bring it!

Since this contest is happening through the radio, I can’t see you as you sing. As such, you have to convince me with your voice that you have the talent needed to get my support. This means your voice has to be on-key and you have to show vocal control.

You also have to reach out to me with your vocal passion. While my ears may hear the song, it’s my heart that feels it. If you don’t put yourself into the song, then I’m going to know it. I’ve known many people who can sing the notes but had zero passion. Does Andrew Garcia ring a bell?

So pick a song that you can put some of yourself into. And reach out to me.

Tonight, the MyndJack Nation gets Jack Bauer on each other and hunts down which one of the players is not playing for the same team! After a disturbing call from Agent Huge Package, the Centeral Unit for Nailing Terrorists discovers that one of their own is trying to sabotage the show! Oh noes!

Later on, we learn that some clergy like to play hide the weenie, Walk the Plank with only two balls, and Corey calls in to chat up with Devinn (aka. Drunk Girl) and a SPECIAL UPDATE from Icelandic Singing Sensation BJORK, who urges everyone to come to Iceland and maul the goats!

The Myndjack Radio Apprentice cast has been announced! Six citizens of the MyndJack Nation will compete to be named the first ever MyndJack Radio Apprentice.

Being a host of the MyndJack Radio Show is a lot of fun, but at times, can be very stressful. Developing new material while maintaining a certain level of inebriation and intoxication can be quite a challenge without passing out on the air. It is clear that the Myndjack Nation needs someone to help us take over the world one (beer/glass of wine/martini/bottle o’rum) at a time. The MyndJack Radio apprentice will get unlimited behind the scenes access to the MyndJack Radio Show and our deep involvement in the All Digital Radio Network. They will share in our goal to take over the world and reap our successes with us. Perhaps someday, the MyndJack Radio Apprentice will someday become a co-host of the show.

….but if one is to be chosen, then five will get their ass FIRED! Here are the contestants, by the teams that they are assigned.

The First Task

Beginning now and to end on Thursday, April 15th 2010, each team must first elect a Project Manager. This person will be partially responsible, if not fully, for the success or failure of their team in this task. Secondly, the team will need to decide on a team name, something that is exciting, engaging, and fitting with the level of professionalism one would expect from a citizen of the MyndJack Nation. (Sorry, Pull-My-Finger has already been chosen by another team.) Once a name has been chosen, then the team project managers must email their team name to me at myndrunner@alldigitalradio.com before you can begin your task.

The task itself is very important not only to the MyndJack Nation’s quest for global conquest, but also in growing our listener base overall on the All Digital Radio Network. We are honored to be a part of All Digital Radio and have the privilege of sharing the air waves with none other than Sir Darryl himself, the Host of the Sir Darryl Radio Experience (Mondays through Fridays 11am to 1pm Eastern). Gracing us with his presence, Sir Darryl has given us his blessing on this task to help grow the Network.

…and how do you grow the network? Network marketing has fast become the primary media source for getting the word out about anything and everything. Social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, place companies directly in contact with their consumers. Whether it be promoting a website, special event, new product, or simply one’s own self, the creation of Facebook Fan Pages have replaced even the most dynamic of websites.

I am proud to announce that the All Digital Radio Fan Page on Facebook is nearing 200 fans. In this task, we aim to grow this number exponentially. The ADR Fan Page lets everyone know what is going on with their favorite ADR programs, while also allowing them to discover new shows as well. The ADR Fan Page on Facebook is directly linked to the ADR main website board, so that any front page blog posting will be updated and posted on the Facebook Fan Page. We have also linked the FFP to the Official ADR Twitter account, to further extend our global media reach.

This week, each team will be responsible for bringing in new fans to the All Digital Radio Facebook Fan Page. Each new fan that joins the All Digital Radio Facebook Fan Page must post a new comment on the page’s wall and their post must contain the team name that brought them there. Teams are limited only by their own creativity on how to get this done; however, there are a few guidelines that I must make clear:
1. Only new fans of the All Digital Radio Facebook Fan Page will be counted.
2. New fans must post the name of the team that brought them there to be counted for that team.
3. Integrity must be maintained, any promises made by a team are solely the responsibility of that team to fulfill. Do not make any promises in the name of All Digital Radio that you cannot fulfill.
4. The team with the most new fans by the beginning of the show Thursday, April 15th, will be the winning team.
5. The losing team will meet with me that show in the Boardroom where ONE of them will get their ass fired by ME and Myself!

As you all know, Deb Della Mundo and Professor Kast will be assisting me on this task, as well as Sir Darryl himself. They will be my eyes and ears on this task and will report directly to me on how each of you are performing. I value their input and their opinions will weigh very heavily on what final decision I make on who gets their ass fired by me, myself, I , and my bad self. In other words, don’t piss either of them off!!! Trust me on this!

I am confident that the teams will do well on this task and I am looking forward to the staggering results.
