MIDNIGHT YOUTH. These New Zealand rockers have caught my ear in a big way. There is something fresh and exciting about their music. It is the perfect mix of alternative rock and pop. Think along the lines as if bands like Maroon 5 got together with Snow Patrol and 30 Seconds to Mars and made a record together. Whether or not that would work out in the studio in reality, it has sure worked for Midnight Youth. I am expecting huge things from this band in the near future. Already signed to Warner Records in New Zealand and Australia, I am sure the sky is the limit for them in the States and Europe soon as well. They will be showcasing at Musexpo in Hollywood next month. Everything seems to be falling into place for them, and I hope we hear lots more in the future.
Oh, and I am really lovin’ the song All On Our Own. Well, the whole The Brave Don’t Run album is great.
